Cristo Rey/Diocese of Mexico:
St. Mark's companion relationship with the mission parish of Cristo Rey on the outskirts of Mexico City. Food Cabinet:
St. Mark's collects non-perishable food items and paper
goods for the food cabinet. The items collected will either
be used by St. Swithin's, Food for Body & Soul (FFB&S), or
donated to First United Methodist's food cabinet. St.
Swithin's continues to serve meals on Fridays at the Lord's
Kitchen. Useful items include condiments in individual
packets, napkins, plastic wear, 8 oz. cups, canned veggies,
and large sizes of pasta and pasta sauce, tuna, etc.
Food for Body and Soul:
Prepares and serves an afternoon meal each Sunday of the year to the homeless, rotating locations each month at various churches in the Glendale area. To volunteer, lend financial support or for more information, contact Monique Poon (monique923@earthlink.net or 818.500.8390).
In addition to feeding Glendale's needy on Sundays, FFB&S now
coordinates the Lord's Kitchen.
Habitat for Humanity:

Hillsides Home for Children:
Hillsides creates safe places for children by treating abuse, neglect and mental illness; strengthening families; providing special education; and advocating for children's rights. Jubilee Consortium:
St. Mark's is a supporting parish of this 4-parish collective within the diocese of L.A., each of which is located in urban, inner-city neighborhoods, with the goal of creating safe and healthy neighborhoods through health, youth leadership and culturnal enrichment programs. Parish Nurse & Health Ministry:

Project Achieve:
An integrated case management program committed to ending homelessness in the greater Glendale area by providing employment, health care, housing, mental health, street outreach, substance abuse recovery and veteran services, in addition to providing transitional shelter and transitional housing. Project New Hope/St. Swithin's II:
Project New Hope, a program of the diocese, provides a variety of services to HIV+ men, women and children in the greater L.A. area. St. Mark's participates in the lunch program of Project New Hope, preparing and serving lunch at the outpatient clinic at County USC medical center the 4th Wednesday of each month. To volunteer for food preparation, transporting and serving food at County USC,

St. Swithin's:
Prepares and serves a hot meal each Friday of the month

Lord's Kitchen.
